Is the Bagrut enough?
What 17 UK universities ask of a Bagrut student, as each one writes it on its own page, with the link.
The rules in short
- 1
90% or more with three 5-unit subjects opens the top group: Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial, LSE, St Andrews, and the top courses at Durham and Warwick.
- 2
About 80 to 85% with three 5-unit subjects at 75% or more opens many strong universities directly.
- 3
About 70 to 75%: some universities admit directly on some courses, such as Lancaster, Queen's Belfast and Queen Mary. Otherwise a foundation year comes first.
- 4
Subjects at 5 units matter as much as the overall average. Most universities here write how many and at what mark.
- 5
These universities ask for proof of English, usually with a test such as IELTS Academic, at a level that depends on the course. None of the pages we checked says the Bagrut English exam can replace it.
